NAKHON RATCHASIMA -- A fire gutted a two-storey building of Wat Ban Cheewuek temple in Kham Sakae Saeng district of this northeastern province early Sunday, causing about 5 million baht damage. The fire was put out in nearly one hour, but nearly the entire of the 70 years old wooden building was destroyed. A firefighter and a member of the Cheewuek TAO were injured during the firefighting operation. They were admitted to Kham Sakae Saeng Hospital. But it was initially believed the fire was caused by an electrical short-circuit.
